Our Leadership

Teaching Pastor | Michael Conn

Michael Conn is a Fayette County native; he grew up in Fayette Bible Church and is a graduate of Fayette Christian School. Through the influence of biblical preaching and teaching, Michael believed the gospel of Jesus Christ at a young age and maintained a tender heart toward the things of the Lord throughout his childhood. This tender sentiment grew into a burden for ministry that guided him from high school to his college and seminary years at Bob Jones University where he finished a BA in Bible and a MA in Ministry. God instrumentally brought Michael back to central Ohio to serve on pastoral staff at Calvary Bible Church in Columbus, OH for over six years later before bringing him back to the church he grew up in, where he now serves as the Pastor of Preaching and Teaching.

Administrative Pastor | Tony Garren

A native from South Carolina, Pastor Tony Garren graduated from Bob Jones University in 1988 with a B.A. in Practical Christian Training. He came to Fayette Bible Church in 1988 as Youth Pastor. He continued in that capacity until accepting the call as Senior Pastor in 1999, an office at which he has faithfully served the church family at Fayette Bible until transitioning to a more focused role as Community and Outreach Pastor in 2022.

School Ministries Pastor | Rick Melvin

Rick Melvin is originally from Washington Court House, and became a Christian after accepting the gospel invitation at Fayette Bible Church as a teenager. During his junior year of high school he felt the Lord’s call to full-time ministry. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Maranatha Baptist University and then pastored for 15 years in Illinois and Wisconsin. During this time he also earned a Master of Arts in Theology from Central Baptist Seminary and a Master of Divinity from Luther Rice Seminary. Rick has also served as a Chaplain in the United States Army, Wisconsin Army National Guard and the Army Reserves since 2012. God brought him and his family back to southern Ohio to serve as the Pastor of School Ministries and Principal for Fayette Christian School.

"Standing on the Authority of the Word of God." Fayette Bible Church is to be a modern biblical example of God's eternal Church, a fertile area for the growth and spread of the Gospel in our community.
